LIVE
Web Site Broadcasting
Web
Site Communicator™ begins broadcasting
live video to each page the subscription
owner puts the simple code on as soon
as they start the Operator Console from
their desktop. Visitors will immediately
be able to see if someone is available
to assist them. Visitors will be able
to hear the operator without having
to click any button and can adjust the
volume or mute it while visiting the
site. The operator can also mute his
audio so he isn't transmitting. The
visitor can simply click the "Request
Chat" button to initiate a chat
session if assistance is required.
Web
Site Communicator™ allows for
multi-video chat sessions. A visitor
to a site might initiate a chat session
with the Master Operator and the visitor
may wish to speak to someone in the
billing department. The Master Operator
can invite the billing department operator
into the video chat session to assist
the web site visitor. Or, the Master
Operator may transfer the web site visitor
to the billing department as explained
next.

add them to your Buddy List and communicate
instantly with them the same as you
would any instant messenger program
but with the edge over instant messenger
programs. This is useful if you have
a team of people you work with. You
can transfer visitors and customers

Web
Site Communicator™ allows you
to video chat with up to 3 people in
our basic program and you can purchase
more connections if you need more. During
your video chat it might be necessary
to send a private message to one of
the attendees. Web Site Communicator™
lets you send private text messages
to individual people.
Because
Web Site Communicator™ allows
for multiple operators we thought it
would be great to assign one person
as the Master Operator. This person
would control every aspect of the subscription,
from setting up departments, assigning
operators and receiving email communications
from visitors when operators are offline
and visitors complete the online email
form. With each subscription only one
operator can broadcast live video to
web sites even if all operators are
online at the same time. This responsibility
falls to the Master Operator. However,
the Master Operator can transfer visitor
chat sessions to other operators or
pull other operators into a live video
chat session.
In
the event the Master Operator is offline
then the live video feed automatically
falls to the Master Operator Assistant.
This automatic transfer of control allows
the Master Operator Assistant to broadcast
their live video feed to web sites containing
the Web Site Communicator™ code
and to connect with web site visitors
who initiate a chat session. When the
Master Operator starts their Operator
Console then they automatically assume
the position of the live video broadcast.
In
conjunction with creating a Master Operator
and Master Operator Assistant, owners
can also create multiple operators to
handle different departments and/or
responsibilities according to the number
of connections the subscriber purchases.
The default program allows up to 3 connections.

Web
Site Communicator™ has an internal
messaging program built right in. This
allows operators to instantly message
other operators whether they are in
the Dept Operator or Buddy List systems.
You can have multiple text chats taking
place at the same time. You can transfer
files between operators and you can
have private video chat sessions with
other operators..
Assign
operators to designated departments
and know at a glance if/when each operator
is available and turn Web Site Communicator™
into an internal instant messenger program.
You
can let operators know when you are
online and available. You can set your
status to "busy" so they will
not bother you. You can set your status
to "away" and type a message
telling them why you are away, how long
you will be away and when you will be
back.
In
the absence of any operator web site
visitors can complete an email form
requesting to be contacted by an operator
when one is available. This email form
gets sent to the Master Operator's email
address as entered in the Administration
Panel.
Web
Site Communicator™ makes it easy
for subscribers to add an invite button
to their outbound emails as a signature
file to encourage email recipients to
visit their web site to begin a live
video chat session.
If
you or your visitors do not have audio
or video capabilities then you can still
communicate using the Text Chat function.
However, we suggest at least the operator
to be using a web cam. You want to make
that sale, don't you?
You
can store unlimited web site addresses
and simply push them to your visitors
at the click of your mouse. This is
great for assisting visitors with finding
pages and items on your web site, like
your sales page or signup page. At the
click of your mouse you can take your
visitor to any page on your web site.
Your guidance and assistance will ensure
a pleasant experience for your web site
visitor.
Ever
notice customers often ask the same
questions? Well, there's no need to
type the same answers if your visitors
are unable to hear you. Simply store
an unlimited number of anticipated responses
in the program and push them to your
visitors as needed. At the click of
your mouse your canned responses appear
on your web site visitors computer screen.
Web
Site Communicator™ software has
three statuses available, Online, Offline
and Busy. For each status you can store
unlimited image files that you can easily
choose from a dropdown menu in the event
you do not want to broadcast live video.
The
Associates List allows you and other
users of Web Site Communicator to participate
in events. For example: if you are running
a promotion on a web site where you
are collecting leads, etc., then users
who are in your Associates List will
take their turn broadcasting on the
page containing the Associates List
code. Visitor one to the web site will
see Operator one. Visitor two will see
Operator two. Visitor three will see
operator three and so on until all operators
in the list have had a turn according
to visits to the page. The Associates
List will then start over from the beginning.
This system allows all operators to
broadcast equally making it fair for
all while skipping operators who may
be offline or busy with a web site visitor.
We discontinued our
Facebook App when Facebook changed its policy to prevent third party apps from being added to profile pages. However, Facebook also changed their policies around Fan Pages to allow iFrames to be added. This is GOOD NEWS. Now, any WSC customer can automatically use Web Site Communicator to stream LIVE and connect with fans right on their Fan Page(s). Knowledge of iFrames is important however, we can direct you to a script that we use on our Fan Page if you do not know how to use iFrames.
